In this project you will use After Effects to create a “Kinetic Typography” music video. After choosing your song, you will animate the lyrics to create a visual representation of the audio. You must use timing and tempo, size and color to emphasize or contrast your original content. Using AE's tools you can emphasize the feeling of moving through space, size and scale of the text, and inversion of axes. Use these tools to bring out and show the relative importance of aspects of the audio and text.
For next class-
Gather audio files: mp3 or AIFF files.
Your audio must have plenty of lyrics. You are going to choose @ a minute from a song. Have several to choose from and put them on your thumb drive.
Have the lyrics of the songs in a text file on your thumb drive. Use google or your ears to find the lyrics.
